This medical center is part of a respected healthcare network providing essential emergency and inpatient services to the Elkader community. The facility features modern exam rooms, medical imaging, laboratory and pharmacy services, and an integrated EPIC EMR system.

• PRN coverage needed for select dates from December 2025 May 2026

• APP serves as sole provider covering both the Emergency Department and Med/Surg units

• Team structure includes 2 physicians and 1 APP

• Nursing Support: 1 provider + 2 RNs, with ancillary support from 1 Paramedic, and occasional CNAs/NPNs

• Responsible for emergency care, inpatient services, and skilled care procedures

• 2 exam rooms per provider with medical imaging, lab, and pharmacy onsite

• Average ER volume: 3.6 patients/day

• Average Med/Surg census: 1.4 patients/day

• EMR: EPIC

• Temporary privileges available (Emergency Privileges not permitted)

• Must be Board Certified with an active Iowa license
