brand-new 144-bed Behavioral Health Hospital opening
Fall 2025 in Greenville, NC.
Clinical & Scheduling Details- Setting: Inpatient Psychiatry
- Hospital Privileges:
- Academic Medical Center (974 beds)
- New Behavioral Health Hospital (144 beds)
- Schedule:7 on / 7 off, 7 AM-7 PM
- Team Structure:
- Physician oversight of up to 2 residents
- Unit capacity: up to 24 beds (per physician)
- Referral Network: 29-county service area, 1.4 million population
- Academic Responsibilities:
- Teaching medical students and/or residents
- Research opportunities available
Candidate Requirements- Board Certified / Board Eligible - Adult Psychiatry
- Fellowship trained (Adult Psychiatry)
- Interest in academic medicine and resident supervision
