Podiatry Opportunity in Southern Oregon
The Podiatrist will provide in-office clinical care for patients with diabetic, podiatric, and lower extremity conditions at an FQHC.
Responsibilities include:
- conducting comprehensive foot and ankle evaluations
- performing in-office procedures
- managing wounds and infections
- collaborating closely with Nurse Practitioners, medical assistants, and administrative staff.
The role offers a consistent, clinic-based schedule focused on continuity of care, procedural excellence, and patient education. Podiatrists are expected to document care accurately and promptly, coordinate with interdisciplinary teams, and contribute to ongoing quality improvement efforts.
Education & Work Experience Requirements
- Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) from an accredited college
- Completion of a CPME-accredited 3-year podiatric medicine and surgery residency (PM&S-36)
- Board certification or eligibility (ABPM or ABFAS)
- Active & unrestricted Oregon medical license or eligibility for licensure
- Excellent diagnostic, procedural, and patient communication skills
