Key Responsibilities:

• Shift Details:
  • Monday-Friday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
  • No call requirements, allowing for a balanced work-life schedule
• Patient Care:
  • 100% outpatient coverage, providing care to patients with various neurological conditions
  • Manage an average of 12-16 patients per day in a clinic setting
  • Work collaboratively with a team of 11 physicians and 10 Advanced Practice Providers (APPs)
• Support Staff:
  • Supported by a skilled team including 1 RN, 4 LPNs, and 1 MA
  • Access to onsite labs and advanced office equipment including EMG and Doppler
• EMR System: Epic, ensuring streamlined documentation and patient management

Certification & Licensure Requirements:

• Board Certification: Must be board-certified in Neurology
• State License: Active Virginia medical license highly preferred, must be obtained by the time of credentialing
• Additional Certifications:
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required
• Vaccination Requirements:
  • Flu vaccine required at the time of credentialing
  • COVID-19 vaccine highly preferred
