Overton Brooks VA Medical Center is recruiting for a full-time Gastroenterologist Physician. Highlights/Requirements
- Starting base salary: $375,000 to - $400,000 per year
- Daily schedule: Monday Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
- Supervise, mentor, and teach graduates including GI fellows and residents.
- Responsible for management of diagnostic, preventative, and/or therapeutic gastroenterological and endoscopic services.
- Perform diagnostic and therapeutic upper and lower endoscopy, including: bleeding control, polypectomy, EMR, PEGS and dilation.
- Work closely with all health professionals throughout the medical center and provide consultation to other services.
- Possess basic endoscopic skills and have a background and interest in clinical/research participation.
- Current, Full and unrestricted license from any U.S. State
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Gastroenterology
- Preferred: The Gastroenterologist (GI) provider will be expected to be proficient in all basic GI endoscopy procedures including EGD and colonoscopy.

- CME: Possible $1,000 per year reimbursement (must be full-time with board certification)
- Contract: No Physician Employment Contract and no significant restriction on moonlighting
