RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work varied shifts with flexible scheduling requirements (shift times to be determined)
• 13-week contract with 36 hours scheduled per week following first full orientation week
• Must work various shift lengths and different days with no guarantee of hours or shift preference
• Nurse to patient ratio of 1:8 during day shifts with 1:6 aide support, 1:8 during night shifts
• May float to Med Surg and Surgical Pediatrics units
• Work in 32-bed Transitional Care Unit (TCU)
• Required to have 2-10 years of nursing experience
• Must possess Hawaii nursing license by start of assignment
• Required certifications: BLS (ACLS not required for this unit)
• Equipment utilized: Meditech EMR, Pyxis, wound vac, chest tubes, tube feeding, NG/G-Tubes, trach care, PICC/PORT
• Professional nursing attire dress code required
• Must arrive Thursday before start date for Friday employee health appointment
• Proof of flu vaccination or approved medical/religious exception required prior to start date
