The Internal Medicine Physician will be responsible for:
- Conducting comprehensive physical exams and medical histories to diagnose and treat medical conditions
- Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, such as blood work, imaging studies, and electrocardiograms
- Developing treatment plans and prescribing medications to manage illnesses and chronic conditions
- Managing chronic medical conditions,such as diabetes, hypertension, heart disease, and autoimmune disorders
- Providing preventive care, such as routine health screenings and vaccinations
- Educating patients about disease prevention and management, healthy lifestyle choices, and the risks and benefits of various medical treatments
- Referring patients to specialists as needed for further evaluation and treatment
- Documenting patient care in medical records
- Participating in quality improvement activities and staying up-to-date with advances in medical research and technology
- Perform other duties, as needed
- Licensed to practice Medicine in the State of New York
- Board Certified in Family and/or Internal Medicine
