Position Highlights
• Experience: 2+ years required
• Certifications: ARRT (R), BLS, Louisiana State License (Temp LSRT accepted - 3-5 days once fee & ARRT proof received)
• Charting: Epic (required)
• Environment: Interventional Radiology | Adult & Geriatric population
• ⚙ Skills & Procedures:
- Venous Access: Ports, PICC & central lines (care/maintenance)
- Procedural: Monitoring, equipment setup, EKG lead placement*, access prep, arrhythmia recognition, circulator, scrub, vascular closure (Perclose/StarClose)*
- Abdominal/Pelvic: Angioplasty, chest tubes, embolization, ERCP, G-tubes, IVC filters, liver biopsy*, paracentesis*, radioembolization*, stents, thoracentesis*
- Vascular: Angioplasty, carotid stenting*, dialysis grafts, endovascular interventions, thrombolysis/thrombectomy, TIPS, extremity angiography
- Neuro: Carotid angiography, embolization, stents, thrombectomy, vertebroplasty
- GU: Nephrostomy, biliary drainage, renal/ureteral stents, stone extraction*
- Cardiac/EP (as applicable): Cath/EP procedures including PCI/PTCA*, pacers*, TAVR*, ECMO*, mapping/ablations*
- Equipment: Fluoroscopy | Siemens* | CT* | PACS | Philips X-ray/Xper*
• Call: Required - 1 day/week
• Weekends: Required - 4-6 shifts
• Float: May float to Cath Lab
• Note: Facility needs coverage through Mardi Gras; minimize RTO 2/13-2/22
• Volume: 16-20 cases/day
