CT Technologist role in Florida; Fri–Sun 10:00–22:00 schedule; per-diem/shift-based position; requires on-site patient imaging and equipment monitoring; contract length not specified (ongoing). - FL DOH licensure as General Radiographer, Nuclear Medicine Technologist, Radiation Therapy Technologist, or Radiologic Assistant - ARRT (R), ARRT (N), ARRT (T) as applicable; obtain ARRT (CT) within 1 year if not already held - BLS from AHA or Red Cross - Knowledge of CT/x‑ray/nuclear medicine imaging and computer troubleshooting - <1 year experience acceptable; preferred 1+ year in diagnostic imaging or CT

Overview: Performs computerized imaging, knowledge of all equipment and monitors. Assist patients and physicians as needed. Qualifications: : Required Education: High School Diploma or GED Preferred Education: Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology. Necessary Skills: 1. Knowledge of computer software and ability to troubleshoot. 2. Ability to provide physical and/or psychological support to patients screening and patient limitations. Required Licensure/Certifications: BLS from the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross A minimum of one of the following license qualification/certification combinations: License qualification/certification combination 1: FL DOH license qualification: General Radiographer or Radiologist Assistant Certification/registration: ARRT (R) Radiography. Within 1 year of hire or transfer into position must obtain ARRT (CT) Computed Tomography. License qualification/certification combination 2: FL DOH Iicense qualification: Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification/registration: ARRT (N) Nuclear Medicine Technology -OR- NMTCB, -AND- ARRT (CT) Computed Tomography License qualification/certification combination 3: FL DOH license qualification: Radiation Therapy Technologist Certification/registration: ARRT (T) Radiation Therapy -AND- ARRT (CT) Computed Tomography License qualification/certification combination 4: FL DOH license qualification: General Radiographer, Radiologist Assistant, or Computed Tomography Certification/registration: ARRT (R) Radiography -AND- ARRT (CT) Computed Tomography Required Experience: Less than one year in computerized imaging (CT, x-ray, nuclear medicine, or radiation therapy), or graduate of a post-secondary CT certification program. Preferred Experience: One year of radiology experience within Diagnostic Imaging, Nuclear Medicine, Radiation Therapy, or MRI and graduate of a post-secondary CT certification program or 1 year of CT imaging experience.
