Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Progressive Care Unit (PCU) position, requiring a current MS or compact RN license and recent specialty experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Step Down unit of a hospital setting
• Night shifts from 18:45 to 07:15
• Care for patients requiring progressive care monitoring
• 13-week assignment duration
• Provide direct nursing care for PCU patients during night shifts
• Requests for time off must be less than one week in duration
• First-time travelers will be considered
• Must adhere to hospital policies and step down unit protocols

Requirements

• Active MS or compact RN license required
• Minimum 1 year of recent PCU or step down nursing experience required
• Certifications must be valid for at least the first 30 days of the assignment
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• No former permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years
• Local travelers within a 50-mile radius are not eligible for consideration
