PRINCIPALDUTIESANDJOBRESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provides independent advanced practice nursing care including but not limited to completions of assessment, diagnosis, development of treatment plan including outcome identification, patient/family education, and implementation and evaluation of the treatment
- Performs patient rounding with an interdisciplinary team and participates in case
- Performs comprehensive physical, psychological, social, spiritual, and cultural assessments through observation, interview, review of medical records and clinical data inclusive of imaging and lab results.
- Evaluates patient's response and intervenes to ensure optimal patient outcomes

- Education:
- Bachelor's degree, Nursing- Required
- Master's degree, Nursing- Required
- Education:
- Board certified as an Advanced Practice Nurse in a minimum of one of the following applicable professional clinical specialties: Palliative Medicine, Family Medicine, Adult/Gerontological Medicine, Internal Medicine, Hospital Medicine, or Acute Care Medicine (Preferred)
- Experience:
- 3-5 years' experience in Critical Care setting as RN or NP (Preferred)
- 3-5 years' experience in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Acute Care Medicine or Hospital Medicine as an NP (Preferred)
- 1 year in management/leadership (Preferred)
- 1 year experience working as part of an interdisciplinary team (Preferred)
- Basic Life Support- American Heart Association (Required)
- Registered as Advanced Practice Nurse (Required)
- Registered on the State of Colorado Advanced Practice Registry (Required)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support- American Heart Association (Preferred)
