This locum tenens position for an Anesthesiology Physician involves providing anesthesia for general surgical, obstetrical, and minor nerve block cases in an inpatient setting. The physician will work primarily in operating rooms and endoscopy suites, managing anesthesia independently without supervising CRNAs, and must be available for clinical call and coverage during nights and weekends. Requirements include board certification or candidacy in anesthesiology, an active Maine medical license, and proficiency with Epic EMR system.
