Position Overview: We are seeking dedicated physicians to join a dynamic team at state-of-the-art urgent care centers near Tebbetts, MO. This locum tenens role offers flexible scheduling and the opportunity to provide comprehensive care to patients of all ages in a well-supported outpatient setting. Job Details: Specialties Required: Family Medicine Emergency Medicine Med/Peds (Internal Medicine & Pediatrics) Certification Requirements: Board Certified or Board Eligible (within 5 years of residency) through ABMS or AOB. BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA). Responsibilities Include: Treating patients aged 6 months and older for various urgent care needs. Performing minor procedures such as suturing, wound care, I&Ds, splinting, and placing IVs. Overreading EKGs and X-rays. Shift Details: Clinics operate from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM (Monday Friday) and 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (Saturday Sunday). 12-hour shifts during weekdays; potential for 12-hour shifts on weekends. Up to 14 shifts per month, with preference for those available for multiple consecutive shifts, including weekends. Patient Volume: 30 50 patients per shift. Support Staff: Medical assistants, scribes, and radiology technicians available on-site. Additional Highlights: Practice Setting: Fully equipped urgent care facilities with lab and mobile X-ray capabilities. Technology: EMR system: Epic (training provided; must adapt quickly). Credentialing: Estimated timeframe: 90 120 days. Requirements: Proof of 50 patient encounters in the last 12 months relevant to privileges requested.
