Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN to join an ICU night shift assignment requiring an AL or compact RN license and current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certification.
Responsibilities
- Work in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) within an acute care hospital setting
- Night shifts with 12-hour shifts from 7:00pm to 7:00am
- Schedule includes weekends and holidays as needed
- Assignment is 13 weeks in length
- Uses Cerner EMR system
- Responsible for providing comprehensive care to critically ill adult patients in the ICU
- Must complete 16 hours of orientation prior to starting assignment
- Holiday coverage required as part of the schedule
Requirements
- Active AL or compact RN license required
- Minimum of 2 years of ICU nursing experience required
- Certifications required: Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
- Able to work night shifts as scheduled
