This position is for a Family Practice/Primary Care Nurse Practitioner based in Aberdeen, WA, providing outpatient ambulatory care in a community health center. The provider will deliver family medicine, acute care, chronic disease management, and basic procedures to a diverse patient population ranging from newborns to geriatrics. The role requires availability for full-time hours, working with vulnerable populations including migrants and refugees, and familiarity with EMR (EPIC).
Aberdeen, WA:

Start Date: As soon as credentialed. Provider presented should be available to start within 4 weeks.
Contract Length: 3 months, possibility to extend
Shift Details: 8a-5p, 40hrs/week. 8 hour work day with 1 hour unpaid lunch.
Schedule: Monday-Friday Work Details:
Support Staff: Dedicated medical assistant for each provider, receptionist, mental health therapists, dietitians, most clinics have an onsite pediatrician and local health care administrator they will submit timecards to.
Amount of Coverage Needed per Month: FT. 40hrs/week.
Patients per day: Will be scheduled to see up to 18 patients. May be less depending on cancellations, etc, but should be comfortable with higher volume and fast paced.
Patient Population/Age: Newborns-Geriatrics. Provider should be comfortable working with all ages.
Department Description: Community Health Center. Providers should have experience in these settings or express interest to work with vulnerable populations. They service migrants and refugees and have interpretative services available on site. Provider is not required to be bilingual, but would be a plus. OP ambulatory services, family medicine, walk-in/acute care services, chronic disease management. They may be caring for same day walk in patients.
EMR: EPIC
Special Procedures: Basic bread and butter procedures. Injections, IUD placement, minor wound care.
Skills Required: Expected to hit ground running. Will be a 1 week ramp up with onsite orientation but will be expected to begin patient care by day 3. Practice Setting:
