Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a MedSurg/Telemetry position in Louisiana requiring a compact or LA RN license and recent relevant experience.
Responsibilities
- Position is located in a hospital MedSurg/Telemetry unit
- Unit assignment is on 3 EAST (MedSurg/Tele)
- 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
- 13-week assignment duration
- Minimum of 1 year of experience must be in the specialty area of MedSurg or Telemetry
- Expect to provide nursing care on a mixed MedSurg/Telemetry floor
- Applicants must not have expiring certifications within 30 days of assignment start
- All requested documentation must be submitted for consideration
Requirements
- Active LA or Compact RN license required
- Minimum of 1 year of recent MedSurg or Telemetry experience
- American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) BLS certification required
- No employment gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
- Valid US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
