This full-time night Registered Nurse (RN) Float Pool role involves providing skilled nursing care across multiple hospital units including Med Surg, Telemetry, ICU, and Emergency Department. The position requires a minimum of two years acute care RN experience and appropriate licensure, with opportunities for tuition assistance and relocation support. The nurse will assess and develop care plans for patients, collaborating with healthcare teams to deliver compassionate care in a community magnet hospital setting.

MedStar Harbor Hospital Float Pool Summary
- Float to a variety of units (Med Surg/Tele/Neuro/IMC/ICU and ED Boarders) at a community-based magnet hospital in southeast Baltimore.
- Pay based on working experience as a nurse plus hourly float pool differential, night differential (X 12 hours), weekend differential, hourly charge/preceptor pay.

Available Role:
Full Time Nights: three 12-hour shifts & every 3rd weekend
Key Responsibilities
As a Clinical Nurse, you will provide skilled, compassionate care to patients and families across a spectrum of needs—from routine to highly complex. You will assess evolving patient conditions, identify actual and potential health concerns, and develop appropriate care plans. Interventions may be delivered directly or coordinated through collaboration with other members of the nursing team

Qualifications
- ADN, BSN, MSN, or CNL from an accredited School of Nursing required.
- 2 years of RN experience required; at least 2 years of acute care RN experience in Med Surg/Tele, IMC/PCU, CCU/ICU units strongly preferred.
- Active MD RN License or Active Compact State RN and Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers required (AHA or American Red Cross). ACLS/NIHSS strongly preferred.
