Job DescriptionThe Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for assessing, implementing, and evaluating care needed by assigned patients under the direction of a licensed physician. The RN will utilize their knowledge of nursing principles, theories, current methods, and techniques to provide high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities- Assess, implement, and evaluate patient care in collaboration with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Direct nursing support staff in providing patient care that complies with nursing practice standards.
- Utilize the nursing process to individualize patient care effectively.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing is required.
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is preferred.
- One year of experience in a clinical specialty area is preferred.
- Active Pennsylvania Registered Nurse License is required.
- Basic Life Support certification is required.
This position operates on a NOC (night shift) schedule, with 12-hour shifts.
