Position Summary: The Registered Nurse (RN) provides direct patient care and demonstrates competent clinical practice. The RN triages patients, obtains histories and vital signs, and performs comprehensive assessments. In life-threatening situations, the RN acts independently to initiate immediate care when a physician is unavailable. The role involves caring for both acutely ill and non-acute patients, performing a variety of complex and basic nursing procedures, and assisting physicians during treatments. The RN delivers physical and emotional support to patients, families, and visitors, provides discharge and follow-up instructions, and communicates with ambulance services to give pre-hospital care orders. This role requires working with advanced medical equipment in a fast-paced, high-stress environment. Responsibilities: • 25% – Perform nursing assessments, intervene promptly, and participate in care planning • 25% – Assess patient needs and deliver skilled nursing care per physician orders and nursing standards • 20% – Accurately process provider orders, including medication changes and clarifications • 15% – Evaluate treatment effectiveness and recommend care plan improvements • 15% – Collaborate with the care team to update and revise treatment plans using current patient information
