RN Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:
• Work on a 34-bed (max capacity 43 patients) general medical surgical floor that is also designated as a stroke and neuro unit
• Patient ratio of 5:1
• Day shift staffing includes 1 charge nurse, 8 RNs, 3 techs, and 1 unit secretary at max capacity
• Night shift staffing includes 1 charge nurse, 8 RNs, 1 tech, and 1 unit secretary at max capacity
• Work with remote tele equipment and Meditech EMR system
• BLS certification required
• NIH Stroke certification and ACLS preferred
• Navy scrubs required as part of dress code
• Ideal candidates should be upbeat, engaged, and compassionate
• Work on a stroke and neuro designated unit performing typical medical surgical procedures
