Position Overview: Location: Near Pacifica, CA Start Date: ASAP (as soon as credentialed) End Date: Ongoing (initial assignment through January 2025, possibly extended through April 2025) Shift Type: Days Schedule: 3 days per week, 8 AM - 5 PM (flexible on which days) Call Coverage: Light call coverage with typically 1-5 calls per month, primarily for existing patients Assignment Details: Setting: Clinic-based with some after-hours call coverage for current patients FTE: 0.6 (Part-Time) Support Staff: Medical Assistant (MA), Medical Office Receptionist (MOR), Supervisor, Manager, Director Patients per Day: 13-15 Duties: Direct patient care for both follow-ups and new patients Visit documentation, message management, and prescription refills Performing thyroid biopsies (required) Required Procedures: Thyroid Ultrasound (performed at the provider s discretion) EMR System: Cerner Requirements: Board Certification: Must be board-certified in Endocrinology.
