Work full-time across multiple NYC boroughs with steep clinical exposure and hands-on charting experience. Physician Extender (Locum Tenens) — full-time, 4 days/week (Mon–Fri), 9am–6pm. Clinics across Bronx, Queens, Brooklyn, Manhattan, Staten Island and Long Island. Ongoing position for Medical Graduates (FMG or US grad). - Must be a Medical Graduate (FMG or US grad) and legally allowed to work in NY - Prior scribing/medical history and documentation experience preferred - Comfortable with EMR, excellent written communication, fast accurate charting - Ability to travel to multiple NY clinic sites - Available for full-time schedule (4 days/week, 9–6)

We are seeking a highly motivated Medical Graduate (FMG or US Grad) to join our dynamic medical team as a Physician Extender. Our practice specializes in Neurology, Physical Medicine, and Orthopedics, with multiple locations across Bronx, Queens, Brooklyn, Manhattan, Staten Island and Long Island. This is a full-time position offering an excellent opportunity for career development and professional growth.


About the Job:


You will work in a fast-paced environment, assisting with clinic notes, placing orders, and reviewing medical records. The ideal candidate will excel in communication, thrive in a busy setting, and efficiently complete charts.


Specifics:

  • Schedule:
    4 days a week (Monday to Friday), 9 AM - 6 PM

  • Locations:
    Must be able to cover clinics in Long Island, Brooklyn, Staten Island, and Bronx



Responsibilities:

  • See consults and follow-ups

  • Obtain and record patient medical histories, test results, and other information for medical records, maintaining strict confidentiality

  • Coordinate daily administrative activities, including completing paperwork requested by insurance or patients? workplaces

  • Finish all clinical notes with accuracy

  • Assist with patient call backs and developing treatment plans



Requirements:

  • Highly motivated with a willingness to learn

  • Speed and accuracy in documentation and history taking

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Excellent writing skills

  • Comfortable with Electronic Medical Records (EMR)

  • Fluency in English

  • Prior experience in taking medical histories, scribing encounters, and completing medical documentation is preferred

  • Must be legally allowed to work in New York State (e.g., active work visa, or US citizen)
