Electrical Superintendent
Overview:
We’re seeking an experienced Electrical Superintendent to lead field operations on large-scale commercial and industrial electrical projects. The ideal candidate is a safety-driven leader with deep technical knowledge, proven management experience, and a passion for quality and efficiency in electrical construction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and enforce all safety protocols on-site, ensuring a culture of safety and accountability.
- Oversee all aspects of electrical labor productivity, including task codes, budgeting, and quantity tracking.
- Collaborate with Project Executives and Project Managers to plan and forecast electrical labor requirements and project schedules.
- Coordinate and supervise field teams, including Assistant Superintendents and Foremen, to ensure on-time, on-budget project delivery.
- Review and interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, submittals, and specifications; identify prefab opportunities and ensure accuracy.
- Provide technical guidance and problem-solving for all electrical field issues.
- Attend contractor and coordination meetings, proactively communicating schedules, constraints, and progress.
- Conduct daily job walks to monitor safety, quality, and production; document findings using Procore.
- Build strong relationships with contractors, suppliers, and field personnel through professional communication and leadership.
- Mentor staff, evaluate performance, and recommend training to strengthen team capabilities.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 10 years of experience as an Electrical Superintendent.
- Proven success managing electrical projects exceeding $15 million in value.
- Licensed Journeyman Electrician (or equivalent).
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Project.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
