RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• Work as a member of the interdisciplinary team providing nursing care through the application of the nursing process
• Patient ratio of 1:6 with telemetry monitoring responsibilities
• Must be able to comfortably read EKG/ECG including all telemetry-related duties and rhythm strips
• Handle various drips including heparin, insulin, lasix, amiodarone, diltiazem, and digoxin
• May float to behavioral health, emergency department, ICU, and post-procedural areas
• Work every other weekend including holiday rotation
• Required to work 2 of 3 winter holidays (Christmas, New Years, or Thanksgiving)
• Limited time off requests between 11/26/25-11/30/25 and 12/23/25-1/2/26
• 2 years experience in Med Surg, Tele, or Med/Tele required
• First-time travelers accepted with at least 3 years of nursing experience
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Must pass Basic Dysrhythmia Assessment with 80% or higher
• Required certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS, NIHSS, MOAB
• Iowa nursing license required
• Same day interviews available via phone/text from 405 area code
• Must live minimum 50 miles from facility
