CLOSED 12.22.2025Lead a Residency Program: Family Medicine Director in Michigan We are seeking an accomplished Family Medicine Director Physician to lead our esteemed residency program near Paris, Michigan. This pivotal role offers a unique opportunity to shape the next generation of family physicians while living in the serene and picturesque Gratiot County. Our community perfectly blends small-town charm with easy access to the vibrant cultural and recreational offerings of Lansing, Grand Rapids, and Saginaw. The ideal candidate will be a visionary leader responsible for overseeing all aspects of our residency program. You will drive strategic planning, ensure compliance with ACGME standards, and foster a supportive, high-quality educational environment for our residents and faculty. Key Responsibilities: Program Leadership: Oversee all program operations, manage the budget, and develop strategic goals in collaboration with key stakeholders. Curriculum & Education: Design and implement a comprehensive curriculum that adheres to ACGME standards. You‘ll lead faculty development and serve as a mentor to residents, providing supervision and mentorship to ensure their growth and competence. Recruitment & Compliance: Lead the resident recruitment process to attract top-tier candidates and ensure the program maintains full compliance with all accreditation and regulatory requirements. Qualifications: Board-certified in Family Medicine (ABFM or ABOFM). A minimum of three years of clinical experience in family medicine within a residency program. Proven leadership and administrative expertise, with a strong understanding of ACGME accreditation standards. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and mentoring skills. This is a chance to join a dedicated team of five faculty members and a behaviorist at our Family Practice Center.
