Job Details:
• Work 9-hour shifts Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM with a day off during the week
• 36 hours per week guaranteed
• Occasional Saturday shifts 1-2 per month and possible holiday requirements
• Level I Trauma experience required
• Pre and post procedural care for patients undergoing conscious sedation and general anesthesia
• Work in radiology pre and post procedural area with 5 angio rooms, 2 CT scanners, ultrasound, and nuclear medicine
• Handle body IR cases including chemo embo, Y-90, GJ, IVC filters, vascular access, angiograms, CT biopsy, ablations, US biopsies, thoracentesis, and paracentesis
• Work with outpatient and inpatient populations including critical care and telemetry patients
• No call responsibilities and will not work in neuro endovascular area
• Charge nurse responsibilities included
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS
• Scrubs provided by facility
• Work with telemetry and ventilator equipment
• Use Cerner EMR system
• 2-shift floor-specific orientation provided
• Support from IR techs, CT, nuclear medicine, and ultrasound techs
• VAT team available for PICC lines and SWAT team for difficult IV starts
