What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the location, including both the business interior and perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor for unusual or suspicious activity and report findings according to site protocols.
• Interact professionally with employees, visitors, and/or contractors, maintaining a visible security-related presence.
• Assist with access control procedures, verifying credentials and granting entry as directed by site policies.
• Complete detailed and accurate reports of incidents, patrols, and observations as required by Allied Universal and client guidelines.
• Remain alert and prepared to respond to emergencies, alarms, and/or requests for assistance throughout the shift.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Hold an active Department of Defense Secret clearance.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
