Opportunity:
- Looking for 2-3 general surgeons to work 7 10-day block schedules for 1 year.
- 1 general surgeon working at a time.
- The onsite surgeon will attend to scheduled clinic patients Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., provide 24-hour call coverage, and provide post-op care, consultations scheduled and emergency surgery.
- Average worked Callback Hours: 4 callback hours per 24 hour shift on call
- Setting: Acute care and clinic practice
- Duties: providers must be able to respond to traumas in the ED.
- Days per month: 20 to be covered by the same two to three surgeons.

- Diagnostic Colonscoples
- Screening Colonscoples
- Cholecystectomy
- Hernia repair with mesh
- Diagnostic EGD
- Excision of breast
- Repair abdominal wall with synthetic substitute
- Appendectomy
- Skin Excision
- Hemorrhoidectomy
- EMR: Meditech in the hospital and eCW in the clinic
- Support Staff: Complete staff in the hospital and typical support medical assistants and RN (as necessary) in the clinic
