An Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner provides comprehensive in-home urgent and emergency medical care, managing high-acuity patients independently and collaborating with a medical team. This role involves traveling with a Medical Technician to conduct 6-8 patient visits daily, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring seamless care transitions to reduce ER visits. The position requires 1-2+ years of urgent care or emergency room experience, strong clinical judgment, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a flexible weekend schedule.

You will be travelling with a Medical Technician, and you do not need to use your own car
Schedule:
- 10-hour shifts, 3-4 shifts per week
- 6 Months with potential for long term.
- Start times vary between 8:00 AM and 10:00 AM
- Weekend requirement: 4 shifts per month (every other weekend or one weekend shift per week)
- Caseload: 6-8 in home patient visits per day
Nurse Practitioner or Certified Physician Assistant Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive medical care to patients with high acuity and complex health issues.
- Work independently to manage patient cases, leveraging urgent care or ER experience.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure effective patient care and treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
- Ensure seamless transition of care for patients to avoid frequent ER visits.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of provider experience required, with a strong preference for 2+ years. Experience in urgent care or emergency room settings is ideal due to the high acuity and complexity of the patients. Will consider NP or PA-Cs
- Skills: Ability to work independently and make critical decisions in a fast-paced environment. Strong clinical judgment and patient management skills are necessary.
