Responsibilities include diagnosing and treating various acute illnesses and injuries, performing minor procedures, and utilizing EPIC EMR for patient documentation. This role requires board certification, relevant urgent care experience, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to support multiple locations within a regional radius.

This is an established urgent care center that provides comprehensive medical services to patients of all ages. The facility features a modern, well-equipped urgent care environment with a supportive team including center managers, medical assistants, and patient service associates.

Job Details:
• Function as the sole provider in the urgent care center, seeing approximately 20 patients per shift (up to 40 depending on the site)
• Treat both adult and pediatric patients ages 6 months and up
• Perform minor procedures including I&D, laceration repair, ear irrigation, and other urgent care services
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR system required for all patient documentation
• Must have strong soft skills for effective interaction with support staff and patients
• Minimum 12 months of urgent care experience required (new graduates not considered)
• Board certification required (MD/DO) or appropriate certification for PA/NP (NCCPA/NP Boards)
• BLS certification required
• No call requirements
• Supervising physician provided for APPs
• Clinical interview required, followed by EMR training and onboarding before first solo shift
• Must be willing to support locations within a 65-mile radius of home residence
• Expected credentialing timeframe is approximately 14 days
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
