We are seeking a Geriatrician for a 60-day locum tenens assignment in California, starting Nov 24, 2025. This role features a Monday through Friday full-time schedule and focuses on all-inclusive care for older adults, primarily serving underserved and Medicaid populations in a PACE setting with low patient volume and substantial paperwork. Job Details Location: California Start Date: Nov 24, 2025 LOA: 60 days Provider Type Needed: Geriatrician Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm Responsibilities and Duties Provide comprehensive care for patients aged 55 and older within a PACE program Complete paperwork and administrative tasks as a significant part of daily duties Deliver care to a predominantly underserved population, including a high proportion of Medicaid participants Collaborate with Spanish-speaking medical assistants and translators to serve a largely Spanish-speaking patient base Ensure compliance with California DEA and furnishing license requirements Maintain high standards of patient care in accordance with geriatric medicine best practices Additional Information Locum experience is required Prior work in FQHC, rural health, or IHS settings is preferred Recent experience in a geriatric care setting is mandatory; urgent care, internal medicine, or pediatrics experience will not be accepted Active California DEA and furnishing license required Board certification in Geriatric Medicine required Benefits Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities What are Locum Tenens Jobs?
