Johnson VA Medical Cetner located in Clarksburg, WV. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on veterans lives while experiencing the unique beauty of the Mid Appalachians.These are 1-year Locum positions slated via two continuous 6-month contracts.Physicians shall be responsible for providing care in the Emergency Department, including, but not limited to:Evaluation, Emergent Treatment and ManagementMajor procedures such as central venous line placement, arterial catheter placement, emergency chest tube or needle thoracostomy to relieve tension pneumothorax, peritoneal lavage, defibrillation and synchronized cardioversion, additional procedures available upon request Stabilization and transferInpatient AdmissionsConsultation and Referral ResponsibilitiesMedicationsDischarge educationCommunication of Test ResultsCredentialling and onboarding takes approximately 4-6 weeks.Hours & Schedule:ER is open 24 x 7 x 365Schedule: Normal business hours for the Emergency Department are based on emergency department needs and may be adjusted by the emergency department leadership.
