Job Description

Family Medicine Physician with Obstetrics needed to join a practice in Surprise, Arizona. Join a group that focuses on family health through quality medical services in a refined facility. The primary focus of the Family Medicine Physician with OB is to provide comprehensive preventive care and health maintenance to patients.

Surprise is a suburb of Phoenix in Maricopa County. Living in Surprise offers residents a suburban feel and is only 45 minutes from Phoenix. Many families and young professionals live in Surprise and the public schools are above average. Surprise is also big on sports and recreation and you can easily enjoy the beauty of White Tank Mountain Regional Park

Details:

• Full-time, permanent position

• Provide accessible health services to patients

• Educate and communicate with patients regarding diagnosis, treatment, preventive measures, and navigating the health care system

• Consult with other clinicians in varying disciplines about patient care

• Manage performance of medical personnel such as Medical Assistants

• Attend CME programs to maintain good standing credentials and privileges

• Work directly with the CMO on procedure and operations improvement

• Assist with developing new programs and services based on community health needs

• Attend staff and provider meetings

• Participate in health fairs, classes, and community events

• Rotating call for emergencies in the evenings, on weekends, and holidays as assigned

• Call volume of 40-50 telephone calls with a call schedule averaging approximately 2 weeks per year

• EMR: NextGen

Qualifications

• Board Certified in Family Medicine

• Valid Arizona medical license

• Current BLS

• Active DEA certification

• Valid Arizona driver's license
