A specialty medical services organization in New York City is currently seeking an experienced, licensed Physician to join their staff as their newAddiction Medicine Physician.

About the Opportunity:

• Start Date: ASAP
• Assignment Length: Ongoing
• Schedule: Monday to Friday
• Hours: 7am to 3pm

Responsibilities:

The Addiction Medicine Physician will be responsible for:

• Supervising and reviewing the of all medical staff including nurse practitioner and nurses.
• Evaluating patients clinical history, physical examination, and appropriate lab data.
• Maintaining registration with DEA, certification as an HIV Care provider
• Maintaining 25 category education credits in primary care, addition medicine or primary care HIV
• Collaborating with Clinic Directors on quality improvements efforts at the clinics
• Performing other duties. as needed

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in an Adult Primary Care role/setting
• Graduate of an accredited School of Medicine
• Licensed to practice Medicine in the State of New York
• Board Certified in Addiction Medicine
• Board Certified in Family Practice and/or Internal Medicine
