The physician collaborates with other medical professionals, supports outreach to critical access hospitals, and educates patients on cardiac health and treatment plans.

Shift: Days Clinic rotation: Monday Friday, 8 AM 5 PM + Shared On-Call

Setting: Inpatient & Outpatient
Responsibilities:
Provide cardiology services in inpatient and outpatient settings
Evaluate and manage cardiac disease processes
Interpret EKG, Echocardiography, Cardiac Nuclear Imaging, Stress Echocardiography, Holter/event monitor
Perform and interpret Cardioversion and Trans-Esophageal Echocardiography (TEE)
Collaborate with other medical specialties
Provide outreach services to nearby critical access hospitals
Educate patients on health, prevention, and treatment plans
Required Procedures:
Echocardiograms

Electrocardiograms
Trans-Esophageal Echocardiography (TEE)
Cardiac Nuclear Imaging
Cardioversion
EMR System: Epic
Support Staff: NP/PA support available
Days Per Month: Full-time schedule
On-Call/Weekends: Shared call for an Echo rotation, includes reading on weekends
Board Eligible or Board Certified in Internal Medicine Required
Board Eligible or Board Certified in Cardiology (Non-Invasive) Required
Oregon Medical License (or willingness to obtain) Required
Fellowship-trained in CardiologyRequired
Ties to Oregon (family in the area or prior residency) Required
Nuclear and Echo CertificationHighly Preferred
