RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity:

Job Details:

• Must have cardiac experience and strong critical care experience
• Patient ratio of 2:1
• Work in 32-bed unit with student nurse externs available as techs
• Float as needed to other units depending on census
• Required to work 3-4 weekend shifts per 4-week scheduling period
• Advanced skills needed: PA catheter and hemodynamic monitoring, IABP, Impella, CRRT preferred
• Participate in central line insertion, swan insertion, and intubations
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS
• Work with Hill-Rom beds and Phillips telemetry monitors
• Use Meditech documentation system
• Unit secretary available Monday through Friday 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM
• Dress code: Galaxy blue, red, or black scrubs with scrub jackets or vests only
• Work with growing cardiogenic shock program with 12 beds allocated for specialized patient population
