Key Responsibilities:
Call Schedule:
- Provide 24-hour on-call coverage, from 6 AM to 6 AM.
- Handle ED and inpatient cases, focusing exclusively on adult and geriatric patients.
- Average number of hospital-based surgeries: 2-5 per weekend.
Procedures Required:
- Ureteroscopy
- Laparoscopic Surgeries
- General Urology
- Trauma
- Nephrectomy
- Partial Nephrectomies/Intraoperative Ultrasound
- Incontinence Procedures
Daily Duties:
- Average number of patients per day: 15-20.
- Perform and manage urological procedures independently, as no other urologists will be present during your assignment.
Facility Details:
- Documentation System: Epic EMR
- Lab and X-Ray: Onsite
- Trauma Level/Designation: Level II
Qualifications:
- Certification: Board Certified in Urology (Required)
- License: Active South Carolina medical license (Required)
- Background: 100% clean background (Required)
- Experience: No new grads; extensive experience, positive ratings, and comprehensive training required
- Certifications: BLS/ACLS preferred
