Position Overview: Profession: Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) Start Date: ASAP Contract Length: Ongoing Shift Details: Standard shift: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM, Monday to Friday No call duties required Specific available dates: 12/23-24, 26-27, 12/30-31, 1/3 Work Details: Procedures: "Bread and butter" general surgery, urology, orthopedics, podiatry, breast cancer surgery, vascular and thoracic cases Average 10-20 Endoscopy cases per day under propofol-infusion No pediatric, head, heart, ENT, or spine cases CRNAs work under medical supervision within an anesthesia care team Possible involvement in elective or urgent C-sections alongside the anesthesiologist Average of 4-7 cases in the OR per day, depending on specialty Department Description: Specialties include ortho, ortho trauma, general, general trauma, spine, neuro, cath lab, ambulatory, and endoscopy 11 ORs in the main operating room and 2 in the ambulatory center Daily case volume: 50-60 EMR System: Cerner and SaAnesthesia Requirements: Board Certification: CRNA Licensure: Active Arizona license required Certifications: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience as a CRNA required Preferred experience with Cerner charting system Practice Setting: Hospital-based role, involving a mix of general and specialized procedures Interview Process: Interested candidates will be interviewed by phone with a supervising anesthesiologist.
