As a Security Officer - Active Secret Clearance Patrol in San Diego, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Patrol Unarmed Officer, where you'll monitor and patrol assigned government locations, helping to deter security-related incidents through your visible presence. You'll conduct routine patrols, interact with visitors and staff, and provide excellent customer service while maintaining a professional atmosphere. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients by performing security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies when necessary.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, supporting the needs of the location.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.
- Observe and report any irregularities or suspicious activities as required by site protocols.
- Communicate with Allied Universal management, site personnel, and local authorities as needed.
- Support access control measures and verify credentials when appropriate.
- Complete daily activity reports and document all incidents in accordance with Allied Universal and client requirements.
Minimum Requirements:
- An active Department of Defense Secret Clearance is required.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
