LocumJobsOnline is working with Curative to find a qualified Psychiatry MD in Chattanooga, Tennessee, 37406!
Join our compassionate team as a locum psychiatrist, offering flexible weekday hours and comprehensive care.
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, 8 am - 5 pm (flexible hours)
- On-call duties from 5 pm - 8 am as part of the call pool
- Weekend on-site rounding required
Practice Setting:
- Inpatient psychiatric facility
- A collaborative work environment with other inpatient providers
- Supported by nursing and mental health clinicians
Responsibilities:
- Perform initial psychiatric evaluations, follow-ups, and discharges
- Manage a case load of approximately 30 patients, including both new admits and follow-ups
- Administer psychotropic medications
Requirements:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible
- BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications required
- Experience accepted in lieu of fellowship
- No suboxone certification needed
Additional Information:
- Patients aged 12 and older
- Immediate start; no waiting for license
