Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Operating Room position with BLS certification and at least one year of OR circulating experience.
Responsibilities
- Work in a hospital Operating Room (OR) setting
- Position performs duties as an OR circulator
- Day shift from 06:30 to 15:00
- 13-week contract assignment
- Role includes coordinating interdisciplinary care, implementing and monitoring patient care plans, and assisting with patient discharge planning
- Requires strong critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work independently in a stressful environment
- Standard Precautions and appropriate use of personal protective equipment are mandatory
- All candidates may be considered for auto offer
- Local candidates are accepted but at a reduced rate per the facility's radius rule, which varies by state
- COVID vaccination is not required as of July 1, 2023
Requirements
- Active RN license, verified via Nursys and current primary source verification within 30 days prior to start
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) is required
- Minimum of 1 year of Operating Room nursing experience as a circulator
- Must provide a US Social Security Number and a valid US address
