CVOR RN Job Details – Baltimore, MD

• Location: Baltimore, MD 21218 (Maryland nursing jobs)
• Healthcare Setting: Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR)
• Contract Length: 13 weeks (Start: 1/27/2026 – End: 4/28/2026)
• Shift: Day shift, 4x10-hour shifts per week (06:00 – 16:30)
• Hours per Week: 40
• Weekend Call: Required (4 call shifts per 6-week schedule)

CVOR Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent CVOR RN experience in a hospital or surgical setting
• Experience with open heart surgery required
• Ability to scrub and circulate cardiovascular cases (CABG, valve replacements, TAVR, etc.)
• Active RN license (Maryland or compact state – Maryland travel nursing jobs)
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification preferred
• First-time travel nurses welcome
• Flu vaccine required (no exemptions)
• Two supervisor references required

CVOR RN Responsibilities

• Scrub and circulate for heart and vascular surgeries, including CABG, valve replacements, TAVR, and other advanced procedures
• Assist with structural heart procedures and vascular interventions
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams (IV, PT, RT, pharmacy, and more)
• Deliver safe, high-quality patient care to adults with complex cardiac and vascular diagnoses
• Participate in weekend call rotation as scheduled
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold best practices in perioperative nursing
