Position Title: Shipping Coordinator

Wage: $17.00 - $20.00/hour

Shift: 1st

Hours: 7:30am - 4:00pm

QPS Employment Group has a great opportunity available for a Shipping Coordinator at a company in Libertyville, IL. This is a potential to hire position for 1st shift. Apply today!

Shipping Coordinator Responsibilities:
- Prepare daily outbound orders
- Prepare and print shipping labels corresponding to shipping needs
- Audit and file inbound and outbound documents
- Process orders based on the customers’ preferred shipping system. (e.g., UPS, FedEx, etc.)
- Contact carriers and schedule shipping
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Load / unload trailers
- Print and sort all Bills of Lading (BOLs) for every order that is loaded on the trailer and obtain signatures on the BOLs
- Obtain and process product orders, including receiving deliveries and distributing packages and letters within the company
- Schedule LTL shipments and plan logistics to ensure that there is sufficient storage space for incoming items and staff on hand to manage the shipments
- Keep files of goods shipped and received by preparing regular shipping and receiving reports for managers
- Manage issues in shipping or receiving
- Troubleshoot shipping issues and customer complaints as needed
- Place merchandise in the inbound receiving location
- Utilize electric hand jack or pallet rider as needed

Requirements for Shipping Coordinator:
- Good communication skills
- Technical capacity
- Good computer skills, with knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Able to stand, walk and reach throughout shift
- Able to lift up to 25lbs
- Strong attention to detail
