This is a hospital-employed Urgent Care Physician position in southern Ohio providing family practice and urgent care services with extended daily hours and rotating weekend shifts. The role involves managing a high patient volume, performing quick assessments, treatment planning, and participating in antibiotic stewardship. Compensation options include guaranteed base salaries with potential wRVU production contracts based on experience and productivity.
Southern Ohio - Urgent Care Hospital employed Urgent Care opportunity in southern Ohio. The facility consists of both Urgent Care and Family Practice and will be open 7 days/wk, 8am-8pm. COMPENSATION: Option : Base salary of $284,835 (50%tile MGMA for those just completing training) with additional compensation for experience, guaranteed for 2 years. Can be switched to a wRVU production contract when exceeding target. Option : Base salary of $353,950 (75%tile MGMA) guaranteed for one year and then switched to a wRVU production contract. Office Hours/Work Schedule Office Hours: 8:00a-8:00p (6 or 7) 12 hour shifts per two week pay period; Rotating weekends Lab, x-ray and pharmacy have same hours of operation as the UC services Family practice, CT, MRI and Ultrasound are by scheduled appointments Staffing - 1 nurse per provider, 2 providers per day Case Load 30 patients per day Equipment IV pumps, slit lamp, basic instruments, AED, EKG Practice Expectations Ability to move at a quick pace and is not overwhelmed by the unknown of what will walk through the door Confident in making a quick initial assessment and treatment plan Completes charts timely Participate in Antibiotic Stewardship Why You ll Love Living Here Scenic riverfront setting surrounded by rolling hills and outdoor adventure Affordable cost of living and family-friendly community Thriving local festivals, arts, and dining scene with small-town charm Easy access to major cities: about 2 hours to Columbus and Cincinnati, 2.5 hours to Louisville, and 3 hours to Lexington
