Neurology Nurse Practitioner/ Physician Assistant - Bakersfield, CA (New Grads are accepted!)

Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Neurology Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our team. This position is primarily an outpatient role with Monday-Friday office hours. The ideal candidate will have prior Neurology experience or training and be comfortable managing a mix of new patient consults and follow-ups.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive outpatient neurology care for patients aged 16 and older.

• Conduct initial consultations and follow-up visits (approximately 10-15 patients per day during the initial adaptation period, increasing to 16-20 patients daily).

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient care.

• Educate patients and families on neurological conditions, treatment plans, and lifestyle modifications.

• Maintain accurate and timely electronic health records.

Qualifications:

• Must have a valid Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP)/PA degree.

• Must hold a California FNP/PA certification.

• Open to hiring new graduates with Neurology NP/PA training.

• Preferred: 1-2 years of Neurology NP/PA experience.

• Strong communication and organizational skills.
