Job Responsibilities:
- Two GI Hospitalist openings available.
- Provide coverage for all unassigned GI patients as well as United Digestive patients.
- Deliver general gastroenterology care.
- Work a 7on/7off schedule (22 weeks per year).
- Consultative inpatient service available from 7:30 AM to 5 PM.
- Collaborate with two inpatient Advanced Practice Providers covering 7 days a week.
- Night call will be managed by current United Digestive physicians.
- Current physicians will cover any additional 8 weeks of Hospitalist needs.
- New graduates through 2025 are encouraged to apply.
Qualifications:
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Internal Medicine.
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Gastroenterology.
- Georgia medical license (or willingness to obtain).
- Ability to provide visa support for J1 or H1B candidates.
- Clean malpractice record (preferred).
- Submission of a recent NPDB Report (within 30 to 60 days active).
- Must obtain DEA prior to start.
License and Certification Requirements:
- Board Certification or Eligibility in Internal Medicine.
- Board Certification or Eligibility in Gastroenterology.
- Active GA medical license or willingness to obtain.
- Clean malpractice history (preferred).
- Recent NPDB Report submission required.
- DEA must be obtained prior to starting the position.
