Position Type: Locum Physician Emergency Medicine

Seeking a Locum Emergency Medicine Physician for a low-volume Critical Access Hospital in Dyersville, IA. This opportunity offers 24-hour shifts, strong nursing support, and a manageable patient census.

• Average ED volume: 4 patients/day

• Average inpatient census: 4 patients/day

• Critical Access Hospital with 3-bed ED

• 20 inpatient beds (medical-surgical)

• Inpatient responsibilities included

• No outreach duties

• No APP supervision required

• EMR: TogetherCare (EPIC)

• Medical imaging, lab, and pharmacy on-site
  
  

• Board Certified ABEM OR FP/IM with recent EM experience (Required)

• Active Iowa License OR Active IMLC (LOQ required at submission)

• Clean malpractice and background history (Required)
  
  

• Minimum: 3 shifts per pay period

• Shift Length: 24-hour shifts (7a 7a)
  (Occasionally 12-hour shifts available)

• On-call: In-house coverage (sleep room provided)
