Seeking a Locum Emergency Medicine Physician for a low-volume Critical Access Hospital in Dyersville, IA. This opportunity offers 24-hour shifts, strong nursing support, and a manageable patient census.
Average ED volume: 4 patients/day
Average inpatient census: 4 patients/day
Critical Access Hospital with 3-bed ED
20 inpatient beds (medical-surgical)
Inpatient responsibilities included
No outreach duties
No APP supervision required
EMR: TogetherCare (EPIC)
Medical imaging, lab, and pharmacy on-site
Board Certified ABEM OR FP/IM with recent EM experience (Required)
Active Iowa License OR Active IMLC (LOQ required at submission)
Clean malpractice and background history (Required)
Minimum: 3 shifts per pay period
Shift Length: 24-hour shifts (7a 7a)
(Occasionally 12-hour shifts available)On-call: In-house coverage (sleep room provided)
