Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor and Delivery position with 2 years of recent L&D experience and night shift availability.
Responsibilities
- Work in a hospital Labor and Delivery unit
- Night shifts, 3x12 hours from 7:00 pm to 7:00 am
- Expected to float within scope to sister facilities as needed
- Uses Epic for charting
- Provide comprehensive care to patients in labor and delivery, supporting both mothers and newborns
- First-time travelers are accepted for this position
- Maximum 5 days of requested time off allowed; no holidays or blackout dates may be requested
- Block scheduling requests are not accommodated
- Scrub attire details will be provided by the facility
- Must be able to adapt to hospital protocols and support the clinical team as needed
Requirements
- Active OK or compact RN license required at time of consideration
- Minimum 2 years of recent Labor and Delivery experience required
- Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate
- Candidates must live more than 75 miles from the facility
- Current and valid state-issued ID or driver’s license and a utility bill with matching address dated within the last 3 months are required
- Two professional references required
- Returning staff must have been separated from the facility for at least one year
