Job DescriptionThe Float Pool Registered Nurse will work across various inpatient units, including ICU, Step-down, and Medical/Surgical, providing high-quality patient care. The nurse will be responsible for managing patient care within competency boundaries, adhering to varying nurse-to-patient ratios based on the unit.
Responsibilities- Provide patient care across assigned units based on competency.
- Monitor and titrate drips as required, especially in step-down areas.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes.
- Read and interpret telemetry strips where applicable.
- Ensure proper documentation through the EPIC charting system.
- Med/Surg background required; step-down experience preferred.
- Current certifications in BLS (AHA) and ACLS (AHA).
- Active RN license.
