Required Qualifications
- Board Certification: Must be board-certified or board-eligible in General Surgery
- Licensure: Must hold an active Virginia medical license
- Experience: Prior experience in general surgery, including adult and pediatric cases
Skills and Procedures
The ideal candidate should be proficient in the following:
- Laparoscopic surgery
- Appendectomy, Cholecystectomy, and Hernioplasty
- Trauma surgery
- Breast and head/neck surgeries
- Endoscopic procedures (Upper GI, Lower GI)
- Chest tube insertion and central line placement
- Minor orthopedic and vascular surgeries
